The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Symposium and Informal Senior Officials' Meeting (ISOM) began on December 11 in Shenzhen.
At the event, Prof. Zheng Yongnian from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) highlighted Shenzhen as a clear example of how reform, opening-up, and globalisation can deliver shared prosperity, noting that Shenzhen itself is a product of these forces.
